Sometimes I Leave the Carolinas

When I write about culinary experiences outside North and South Carolina, I wonder if I’m boring people, or annoying them, since this blog is all about our wonderful Carolinas.

It’s no secret I love to travel. Two special opportunities are on the horizon: Food Blog South in Birmingham, Alabama and an extended trip to Europe and Scandinavia. And I know I’ll just HAVE to write about some of the incredible experiences that are bound to happen.

So what’s a girl to do? Answer, build another creative outlet and call it Carolina Epicurean Travel Log ( There’s a link on the Carolina Epicurean main menu called “Outside NC & SC“. Click it and you’ll see where I go when I’m not in the Carolinas.

It’s not absolutely complete yet, but take a look, browse around, and see what you think. Click what’s clickable. Zoom in and out. And if you’re interested, you can check back now and then to see what’s new or even subscribe, getting new posts as soon as they’re published.

Or you can ignore it and know that I’ll continue keeping you posted on what’s going on in the North and South Carolina culinary world. There might just be a short lull now and then. Not too often, I promise.

As I add stories of escapades from other parts of the US and other countries, the home page map will open zoomed out so all posts are visible.
