The Mt. Pleasant community will be able to get their “Fill” of lively fun, remarkable entertainment and mouthwatering cuisine as Fill Restaurant & Piano Bar takes residence in the recently closed Mosaic Café in the Iron Gate Shopping Center. Jeff Hodges, the owner of Fill Restaurant & Piano Bar, is excited to announce that doors to the dueling piano bar will open to the public in February of 2016 with a Grand Opening night planned for February 12th.
Fill Restaurant & Piano Bar will offer an American eclectic, chef-driven menu for lunch, dinner, late-night and a delightful Sunday brunch. Dueling pianos will perform every Friday and Saturday after 9 pm offering Charleston a new and unique take on late-night eats and live entertainment. “We have a fabulous executive chef, Michael Rogers, who has developed an exciting new American fusion menu,” says Hodges, “We are thrilled to bring some unique food and entertainment to Mt. Pleasant. We feel like this community will really love it!” Rogers is no stranger to exceptional Charleston Cuisine and has worked in some of Charleston’s most notable restaurants, including Poogan’s Porch and The Mustard Seed.
Guests can look forward to an exceptional ambiance of jazz & light piano music throughout the week to backdrop a perfect dining experience. Talent will feature a roster of Charleston’s finest pianists including Jazz Pianist Richard White, who will be the featured player for Valentine’s Day Brunch, dueling pianists Jami McNeill and Evan Burgess, David Daigneault, Joe Clark, Ross Bogan, and many others! The dueling pianists will encourage requests for favorite tunes from the past several decades all the way up to the current top 40 and, of course, all will be welcome to sing-along.
