Chapel Hill – April is North Carolina Beer Month and there are an array of special events and activities on tap from the mountains to the coast for the fourth straight year.
The Carolina Inn, A Destination Hotel that opened in 1924, announces that its award-winning Crossroads Chapel Hill will offer a special month-long tasting menu.
Executive Chef James Clark will prepare a delicious 3-course dinner paired with local craft beers from Carolina Brewery in Chapel Hill, Natty Greens Brewing Company in Greensboro and Old Hickory Brewery in Hickory.
The First Course offers Clam Frites served with Pork Broth, Benton’s Bacon Fennel & Carolina Bleu Frites and paired with Carolina Brewery’s Sky Blue Golden Ale. The Second Course showcases Cane Syrup Lacquered Half Chicken accompanied by Asparagus, Smoked Pepper & Carrott Adobo and paired with Natty Greens Brewing Company’s Buckshot Amber Ale. For dessert, the Nanner’Offee features Banana Toffe Pudding with Graham Crackers and Hefeweizen Chantilly and paired with Old Hickory Brewery’s Hefe-weizen Hefeweizen.
