Charlotte, N.C. – Happy holidays from The Asbury! We thank you for following us this year as we welcomed Matthew Krenz as our new executive chef, continued our Collaborative Series Dinners and celebrated the culinary fabric of Charlotte. A few quick notes:
Christmas Day Dinner, Dec. 25, three-course menu with two seatings. $55 per person. $55/per person for adults. $25 for each child, six to 12 years old. Free for children five and under free. Select from choices such as BBQ Cauliflower (an exquisite vegetarian offering with Charlotte’s UAV Burrata) or an elegant chicken pot pie with buttermilk biscuits (photos below)–and more. Cranberry + Pecan Trifle and Eggnog Cheesecake Lollipops top the dessert list.
New Year’s Eve Tasting Menu features a five-course tasting menu, and yes, we offer a sparkling toast, too! Seatings start at 5:30 pm and extend to 9 pm. $80/person and $40/person for optional wine pairings with each course. Our prix fixe menu features our new butter-poached Ham-Crusted Scallops and one of our most beloved dishes, Braised Pork Cheeks with whipped potatoes and apple and fennel demi (below).
