The Swag hosts its first Oktoberfest

Waynesville – The Swag, a 14-room mountaintop hideaway in North Carolina, will host its first annual Oktoberfest on Thursday, September 14th. This marks a new era for The Swag which has resided in dry Haywood County since opening to the public in 1982. In November 2016, voters repealed the dry county designation, which has been in effect since prohibition, and alcohol can now be sold.
