Durham – Looking for a new Thanksgiving (or Friendsgiving) tradition? 21c Museum Hotel Durham and Counting House invite guests to enjoy a feast with family and friends on Thanksgiving Day. Executive chef Thomas Card will prepare a special holiday buffet menu on Thursday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Thanksgiving Dinner spread will feature a variety of Counting House favorites and classic holiday options including:
· Sorghum glazed fried turkey
· Braised short ribs with parmesan polenta and roasted squash
· Macaroni and cheese with truffle and rosemary gremolata
· Sweet potato casserole with spiced pecans and toasted meringue
· Cranberry verine with orange curd and rum spiced cotton cake
· Apple galette with cinnamon and turbinado sugar
Price for the dinner is $60 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Children 3 and under eat free. Seating is limited. Reservations can be made by calling 919.956.6760.
