“Winter Feast” – a special dinner at Farm Burger South Asheville

South Asheville –  Farm Burger, the 100% grass-fed and locally-sourced burger restaurant, is hosting “Winter Feast” – a special farm dinner at its South Asheville location (1831 Hendersonville Rd.) on Thursday, Dec. 14th from 5-9pm.

Benefitting the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP), the supper will showcase local Asheville farms and feature a four-course menu of seasonally-driven winter dishes with craft beer pairings from Hi-Wire Brewing.

Hors d’oeuvres
Springer Mountain Farms chicken liver mousse with toasted crostini
Caramelized onion dip with house chips

First Course
Nashville-style chicken, fried Springer Mountain Farms chicken with Smokin’ J’s hot sauce and local honey
HNG pork belly and steamed buns with local pickled veggies

Second Course
Farm Salad, curly kale with North Carolina Granny Smith apples, toasted sunflower seeds and Round Mountain Creamery goat cheese

Third Course
HNG apple smoked brisket with bourbon caramelized onion glaze
Roasted root vegetable mash
Sautéed Brussels sprouts

Dessert
North Carolina sweet potato cupcake, Flying Clouds Farms sweet potatoes, sorghum cream icing, salted caramel ice cream from The Hop Creamery
