Warren Spahr pushed me over the edge. That's right, he posted a "must go to the new Horse Shoe Cafe" message on my Facebook Wall along with tantalizing Intel. I'd been reluctant - there are so many places on my "short list" already. Thank you, Warren! PIC and I had breakfast at Horse Shoe Cafe this morning. We'll be regulars. Lee R. Grass Roots Cafe Adds Breakfast!

The Grass Roots Cafe, located on Hwy 64 (Brevard Rd) in Horse Shoe, has added breakfast (call for hours) Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weekday breakfast is in the works, slated to happen in the next couple of weeks, if all goes according to plan. Mojo's Coffee has been open for about a month in the same (Hwy 64/Brevard Rd) Horse Shoe Plaza that houses Suzanne's Tea Room and Villa Roma Italian Pizzeria & Restaurant.Stopped in Friday November 21st, for a latte ($3.50 + tax) and snapped a few pictures:Saving myself for lunch (somewhere else), I didn't get one of their large, freshly baked raisin scones ($2.25 + tax).
