Executive Chef Mike Ferrari has created an original menu inspired by the flavors of Tuscany and each dish will be paired with a wine from the Tuscan wine growing region. “We love sharing our farm, particularly on the most romantic night of the year. Even though we’re just ten miles from Asheville, The Farm feels far away like a private retreat” says Beverly Gottfried, co-owner of The Farm. “This year, in addition to dinner, we encourage our guests to turn the night into a romantic get-away by spending the night in one of The Farm’s cabins or cottages.”
Cabins and cottages, some are pet friendly!!, are offered at the special price of $150 for dinner guests. “Romance is a garden that needs tending.” Beverly Gottfried.

About Executive Chef Mike Ferrari:
Mike began his professional cooking career in Atlanta, GA in 2001 under the guidance of several classically trained European chefs and ACF competition winning teams. His ability to thrive under pressure and his attention to detail allowed him to quickly gain recognition in kitchens full of young aspiring cooks. Opportunity came quickly and Mike made the move to the mountains of North Carolina to do seasonal work at several prestigious country clubs. Within a year, Mike was promoted to sous chef at Highlands Country Club while also working at The Jupiter Island Club during the off-season. After seeing a variety of cooking styles and learning various techniques, Mike attended culinary school at AB Tech in Asheville, NC where he has also served as an adjunct instructor.
With over 15 years of fine-dining experience, he came to The Farm to build The Farm Kitchen’s culinary program. As the Executive Chef, Mike has used the same intensity and attention to detail, to quickly build our catering operation from the ground up.
