Something's happening in Asheville's RAD (River Arts District). If you haven't been in a while, it feels like a shift is happening. Artists and others are moving to an area closer to the river.

Asheboro's revival at the hands of locals seems to have started in 2013 when two new businesses opened. A second local-owned restaurant followed in 2015.
